My process:
I don’t give quotes over the phone.
In order to provide an accurate and thorough estimate, it’s ideal to see a job site first-hand or at least receive photos and talk with potential clients about the scope of what they’re looking to do.
Then I’ll put together an estimate that outlines expected labor and materials costs, and breaks out what a payment schedule would look like.
Once a client agrees with a bid, they’ll receive a contract for signature to confirm the project on my schedule, and an initial invoice.
Because life and older homes can be surprising, I’ll discuss any scope changes that come up during the job that may extend the schedule or the budget with the Client so they understand the situation.
My goal is for you to be happy with the process and the result, to have a great experience and get a great value.
